My brother Sheldon

There are very few people in the world that you can relate to so well. Sheldon is like my alter-ego. Sheldon has lesser problems than me, but he is as passionate about science and learning as me.

Let’s look at how we are different? Actually, we are not different - we are just 2 sides of the same coin. He has trouble adjusting to social life, whereas I love having people around me. He is very scared of germs and infections, whereas I believe in Papa’s terrain theory (vs. germ theory). Terrain theory means that the amount of infection depends upon the host body, and not the germ. Sheldon found a great physics mentor while I am still waiting to find one. Sheldon could speak and share his grand ideas with the world while I am still learning to talk. Essentially Sheldon is a genius like me, minus my brain injury.

Sheldon and I have tons of similarities; so much so that it is uncanny. He and I both have a very active and interesting “meemaw” (grandmother). Sheldon’s mom was the biggest supporter of him, but my mom is more than that. She is my life, she is my feelings reset mechanism and she is the anchor of my life. Sheldon knows like me that the world is a better place because we live. We make life of those around us meaningful.

Sheldon has a twin sister who is very smart. My sisters, Avni and Myra, are also the same - full of common sense. Sheldon’s elder brother Georgie was good in his own way. He loved and was very good with making money. I think Adi bhaiya and Atharva will also do so.- make a lot of money. I think mummy-papa watch Sheldon to see how amazing life will be when I talk and go to college. Yes, Sheldon goes to college at the age of 11. My goal is to join him soon.
